Cultivate your curiosity, explore your passions, and create your own community through one or more of the 1,000+ different clubs and student-run organizations across our three campuses. You’ll find a club for almost every pursuit — from beekeeping to breakdancing, magic to mah-jong, Quidditch to space robots. Some clubs focus on cultural or spiritual ties, while others, such as departmental student societies, focus on academic interests. Meet fellow enthusiasts and like-minded colleagues. With three campuses that leading researchers and scholars from across the world call home, ²ÝÁñ2024еس¶Ò»¶þ is a true global village. You’ll find many opportunities to engage with this diversity, both on and off campus.

Discover a rich array of opinions, backgrounds, and experiences by taking part in clubs, peer mentoring, or casual chatter. Reach out to communities all across the Greater Toronto Area through volunteer, work, and co-op placements. Share your expertise by mentoring high-school students, developing educational workshops, or launching a neighbourhood campaign. The University has extensive ties with local community groups, and can help you merge your academic studies with community engagement.

Athletics and Recreation

Whether you’re into soccer, softball, or swimming — in an or on an team — you’ll find hundreds of ways to stay active, connected, and competitive at the ²ÝÁñ2024еس¶Ò»¶þ. Get moving at any of our state-of-the-art facilities and through a variety of classes, programs, teams, and more. With our 900+ Varsity athletes on 44 teams across 26 sports, we have one of North America’s largest and most successful intercollegiate sports programs. Our coaches, alumni, and students include former (and future) Olympians as well as some of Team Canada’s biggest names. Plus, 11,000+ students across our three campuses compete in our intramural league just for fun.
