Awards Profile

The Awards Profile is each student鈥檚 best opportunity to make themselves eligible for a wide range of awards with a single application, including awards for Black students, Indigenous students, service members and more. We strongly encourage applicants to comprehensively self-identify when completing their Awards Profiles. Self-identification is voluntary and kept confidential. 

The Awards Profile makes it possible for 草榴2024新地扯一二 applicants to be considered for admission awards based on financial need, leadership, school involvement, community involvement, extra-curricular activities, artistic achievements, sporting achievements and other criteria.

If you are a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or protected person (convention refugee) in your final year of secondary school, you may be eligible to submit an Awards Profile.  Access to the Awards Profile is granted to eligible candidates upon submission of an admission application to 草榴2024新地扯一二. You will be able to access it via your admission portal.

Some also have their own profiles, so be sure to check your faculty and/or college website and complete any separate form that they may require.

Award Spotlights

Awarded on the basis of academic merit and demonstrated leadership excellence (including, but not limited to arts, sports, music, entrepreneurship or social enterprise) to domestic students coming from Canadian secondary schools and entering any first entry undergraduate program. Financial need may also be considered for these awards. Eligible candidates must have a minimum admission average of 95%. 

Value: $20,000 (non-renewable)

Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need, academic merit and community involvement. Recipients must meet OTSS eligibility requirements of financial need and Ontario residency.

Up to 3 award recipients are selected annually.

Value: $5,000 (non-renewable)

Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need, academic merit and community involvement or other extra-curricular activities to domestic students coming from Canadian secondary school.

Up to 3 award recipients are selected annually.

Value: $6,000/year for up to 4 years of study (renewable).

Awarded to students on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic merit.

Value: $5,000 (non-renewable)

Awarded to the student from Goderich Collegiate Institute on the basis of demonstrated financial need, academic merit and school activities.

Preference given to students entering the Faculty of Arts and Science (arts program), followed by the Faculty of Arts and Science (any program) and then finally 草榴2024新地扯一二 (any program).

Value: $2,500 (non-renewable)

Awarded to students on the basis of academic performance and demonstrated interest in and commitment to study in the Humanities at the 草榴2024新地扯一二.  

Up to 8 award recipients are selected annually.

Value: $7,500 (non-renewable)

Awarded to students on the basis of demonstrate financial need and who have been active as leaders in high school and have attained respect as well-rounded citizens in their school and community.

Recipients must meet OSOTF eligibility requirements of financial need and Ontario residency.
Up to 3 award recipients are selected annually.

Value: $5,000 (non-renewable)

Awarded to students on the basis of demonstrate financial need and academic merit. Eligible candidates are students with Japanese-Canadian ancestry.

Up to 1 award recipient selected annually.

Value: ~$350 (non-renewable). Exact value varies each year.

Awarded to students on the basis of demonstrate financial need and academic merit. Recipients must meet OSOTF eligibility requirements of financial need and Ontario residency.

Eligible candidates are descendants of one who has served in the Canadian Armed Forces in the First World War, the Second World War or may serve in a subsequent war overseas.

Up to 1 award recipient selected annually.

Value: $900 in first year, $450 in upper years (renewable).

To be awarded on the basis of financial need to one or two incoming first-year undergraduate students, with preference for students with a Grade 12 average of at least 90% and who have demonstrated leadership amongst their peers.

Value: $2,500 – $5,000 (non-renewable)

Awarded to students on the basis of academic merit and participation in extracurricular activity.
Eligible candidates are female students graduating from a secondary school in Stratford, Ontario (first preference to Stratford District Secondary School), entering a science program in the Faculty of Arts and Science or the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering.

In the absence of an eligible female candidate, a male candidate may be considered.

Up to 1 scholarship will be awarded annually.

Value: ~$2,500 (non-renewable)

Awarded to a student, who is a member of Scouts Canada, on the basis of scouting service and experience.

Eligible candidates are Canadian Inuit or Aboriginal student from the North West Territories or Moosonee area, who are entering the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering or the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design.

Value: Varies.

Awarded to students on the basis of demonstrated financial need, academic merit and participation in extracurricular activity.

Up to 1 award recipient is selected annually.

Value: $2,500/year for up to 4 years of study (renewable) 

Awarded to outstanding students who self-identify as Black students on the Awards Profile.

Up to 5 award recipients are selected annually.

Value: $7,000 (non-renewable)
