Application assessment
The application consideration process consists of the following three phases:
Verify that you meet the university鈥檚 general admission requirements
These are the basic requirements鈥攊ncluding our English language requirements鈥攖hat all candidates must meet to be eligible for 草榴2024新地扯一二 admission consideration.
Assess whether you meet program-specific requirements for your intended area of study
Do you have the necessary subject prerequisites? Have you completed any required supplemental applciations, like personal statements, profiles or auditions?
Review the results of your most recent two years of study
The emphasis of our final assessment will be placed on the results of your most recent two years of study, including your marks in prerequisite courses and on the strength of your supplemental information where required. However, we may also consider other aspects of your complete academic record including where and when courses were completed and the number of times courses have been attempted.
The 草榴2024新地扯一二 does not have the capacity to admit all applicants who meet the minimum general and program-specific requirements. We seek to admit the best possible students based on academic performance and potential, and will select students for admission based on competitive strength.
Full disclosure of all academic information must be made at the time of application, and any request for special consideration must be submitted to University Admissions & Outreach as soon as possible following your application.
When admission decisions are made
Decision timelines
Admission decisions are generally released starting in late January and continuing through to late May.
The timing of an admission decision depends on several factors, including your target programs and a program's requirements. If you do not receive an admission decision in one round, your application will be considered again in the next rounds.
Completing your application
We are only able to make offers of admission to complete applications, so be sure to complete all next steps and submit required documents. You will maximize your opportunity for admission consideration by completing next steps well in advance of deadlines.
Receiving your decision
You will receive a decision for all applications you submit to the university. If we are unable to admit you to a specific program, we may consider you for alternate programs and campuses, space permitting.
When an admission decision is ready, we will send you an email that an update has been posted to your , or the .
Special consideration
If your academic record has been negatively affected by disability-related or extenuating circumstances (such as a personal or family illness, tragedy, trauma or hardship), and your academic performance is slightly below the usual requirements for admission, the appropriate admissions committee may give special consideration. You must first apply to the university to submit a request for special consideration. Each request is reviewed on its individual merits and we cannot guarantee approval.
After applying, complete the Request For Special Consideration form on the applicant portal and submit relevant supporting documentation to University Admissions & Outreach. You will be able to access the form through or the The deadline to request special consideration is the same as your deadline to submit supporting documents, although we do encourage you to submit your request as soon as possible.
