Minimum admission requirements 

Five different IGCSE/GCSE/Ordinary Level academic subjects and three different A Level/International A Level academic subjects. Prospective students presenting four AS subjects in lieu of three A Levels will also be considered for most programs.

English IGCSE/GCSE/Ordinary/AS/A Level is required for all programs. Mathematics AS or A Level is required for programs with the Calculus prerequisite. Other prerequisites should be presented at AS or A Level. General Paper, General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills, Key Skills, and AS Global Perspectives and Research will not be included in our assessment .

Prospective students who followed a different curriculum prior to their AS/A Levels will be considered on their overall record, provided that they satisfy prerequisites.

Note about technical qualifications

BTEC National (Level 3), Cambridge Technical (Level 3) and T-Level qualifications are not accepted in lieu of AS or A level subjects.

Six CAPE units offered by the Caribbean Examinations Council. English completed at CSEC or CAPE level is required for all programs. Pure Mathematics or Integrated Mathematics at the CAPE level is required for programs with the Calculus prerequisite. Other prerequisite subjects should be presented at the CAPE level.

Minimum admission requirement

Baccalauréat/Baccalauréat Genéral. Anglais completed in the final/terminale year is required for all programs.

Prerequisites

• Anglais completed in both the première and terminale years is required for all programs.
• Spécialité Mathematics completed in both the première and terminale years will satisfy the Calculus prerequisite.  Mathématiques Expertes is also recommended for applicants to programs in Engineering
• Spécialité Mathematics (première only) or Math complémentaires will satisfy the Advanced Functions prerequisite.
• Spécialité SVT (Sciences de la vie et de la Terre) completed in première only, or, in première + terminale will satisfy the Biology prerequisite.
• Spécialité Physique-Chimie completed in première, or, in première + terminale will satisfy the Physics and/or Chemistry prerequisite for admission to arts/science programs. Applicants to programs in Engineering must present Physique-Chimie in premiere and terminale.

Mathématiques Expertes is also recommended in the Terminale year for admission to ²ÝÁñ2024еس¶Ò»¶þ Engineering programs. Refer to the for admission requirements for Engineering programs.

Minimum admission requirement

International Baccalaureate Diploma, with English HL or SL.

Prerequisites can be presented at the Standard or Higher Level. Be sure to check the requirements for your intended area of study.

The following IB Math courses will satisfy the Calculus and Advanced Functions prerequisites for science and business programs:

• Mathematics: Applications and Interpretations HL
• Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches SL
• Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches HL

Mathematics: Applications and Interpretations SL will satisfy the Advanced Functions prerequisite (only).    

Applicants who completed the pre-2021 IB curriculum may present Mathematics SL or HL to satisfy the Calculus and Advanced Functions prerequisites.

Admission consideration is based on your predicted or final results (excluding bonus points).

If you are completing IB courses but are not enrolled in the full Diploma Programme, you may qualify for admission if you are completing another recognized secondary school diploma. See International High School Requirements by Country for a list of acceptable qualifications.

The IB Career-related Programme is not accepted as a basis of admission to ²ÝÁñ2024еس¶Ò»¶þ degree programs.

Final IB results must be submitted to ²ÝÁñ2024еس¶Ò»¶þ electronically by the IBO.

Minimum admission requirements

Recognized U.S. High School Diploma. U.S. Senior Year/Grade 12 in an accredited high school with a high grade point average. We expect competitive applicants to be enrolled in a rigorous academic course load, and to have taken the highest level of course available to them in prerequisite subjects.

Prerequisite courses

Prerequisite subjects, including English, should be presented at Senior Year/Grade 12 level or AP/IB. SAT Subject Tests cannot be used to satisfy prerequisites.

AP Calculus AB or BC or 1 semester of college or university calculus is required for most math, science, computer science and commerce programs. Precalculus cannot be used to satisfy the Calculus prerequisite. AP Statistics does not provide the appropriate preparation.

Standardized tests

Students who have written SAT or ACT tests, and wish to have these considered in their assessment, may submit their scores.

SAT, ACT and AP scores should be sent to us electronically. SAT and AP institution code is 0982 and ACT institution code is 5366.
