UTAPS covers the financial gap between a student's actual education costs and the costs recognized by their provincial or territorial government student financial aid program. In other words, it helps to address unmet financial need. Through UTAPS, ²ÝÁñ2024еس¶Ò»¶þ provides non-repayable grants to students, that do not need to be paid back.

You may be eligible for UTAPS if you're a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person (recognized convention refugee) with financial need who has applied for government student aid (or Indigenous sponsorship funding) and is enrolled full-time in
How to apply
As an applicant, you’ll use the to apply for UTAPS. On Need Navigator, you'll complete a financial need application that helps the university determine your eligibility for UTAPS financial aid. Our faculties and campuses also use this application to further assess your financial need and provide divisional grants.
