Creativity and computers

Junyi’s favourite course so far has been “CCT211: Fundamental of User Interface Programming,” which taught him how to program in Python. In addition to learning this key fundamental skill, which he has taken with him into other courses, the class also had a fun project where students were able to create their own game & design their own characters. Merging his creativity and computer skills has been one of the highlights of his studies so far. 
 

Gaining office experience

Outside of the classroom, Junyi has a work-study position in the Office of Admissions and Student Ambassadors, where he leads campus tours to prospective students and answers phone calls. He feels a sense of fulfilment being able to help students who are going through the university exploration process, providing information, clarity and reassurance to students and families.
 

Finding the fun

When he’s not studying or working, you can find Junyi relaxing by reading, playing video games or playing badminton.
